The Board of Certified Direct-Entry Midwives and the Board of Nursing will now terminate on June 30, 2031, while the Board of Parole will terminate on June 30, 2029. The act is exempt from a provision that prohibits a bill from continuing or reestablishing more than one board or commission. If the act takes effect after June 30, 2025, it will be retroactive to that date.
