SB118 amends Alaska statutes to require the University of Alaska Board of Regents to include at least one faculty member. The governor must appoint this faculty member from a list of nominees submitted by the three faculty senates of the University of Alaska. The faculty member must be a full-time, tenured faculty member at one of the three University of Alaska campuses. The term of office for this faculty member is two years, beginning June 1 of the year of appointment.
