The resolution establishes the Joint Legislative Task Force on Sport Fishing Service Providers in Southeast Alaska. The task force will examine the history of the sport fishing service industry, advise on managing participation, evaluate resource competition, and identify funding sources. The task force consists of 12 members, including representatives from the Board of Fisheries, the public, and sport fishing service providers. The task force will submit a report by January 20, 2026, and expire on May 21, 2026.
