Establishes procurement preferences for state and municipal purchases of Alaska-sourced agricultural and fisheries products.

The bill mandates that municipalities receiving state funds must prioritize purchasing agricultural and fisheries products sourced within Alaska if they are of similar quality and priced within 7% above comparable out-of-state products. If the in-state products are priced up to 15% higher, municipalities may still purchase them. The state and school districts receiving state funds must apply a price preference of 7% to 15% for in-state agricultural products. The bill also applies a similar preference for fisheries products. The changes take effect July 1, 2025.
