HB42 amends Alaska statutes to change the rules for school construction and major maintenance grants and bond debt reimbursement. It restricts the commissioner from allocating funds for more than one school construction project or two major maintenance projects. It also limits the committee from recommending approval for more than one school construction project or two major maintenance projects. The changes apply to applications for bond debt reimbursement made by a municipality on or after January 1, 2015, but before July 1, 2025.
