Graduates of the program will receive an associate's degree and complete the basic training curriculum required for certification as a law enforcement officer. Upon graduation, they will be granted provisional certification as an Alabama law enforcement officer. If hired by an Alabama law enforcement agency within the provisional period, their provisional certification will become full certification.
