Limits exemption for land transfers to immediate family members from subdivision regulations to 24 months.
Under existing law, transfers of land from developers to their immediate family members are exempt from certain regulations governing the submission, approval, and permitting of subdivision plats. This bill would require this family member exemption to expire after 24 months from the date of such transfers. This bill also makes nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
