Born in Russell County, Alabama, Chuck graduated from Mount Olive High School and earned a baseball scholarship to Fort Valley State College. He achieved numerous records and honors, including being named Most Outstanding College Athlete in America. Chuck enjoyed a 30-year career at Mead Coated Board and was known for his strong work ethic. He was passionate about golf, baseball, singing, and spending time with his family.
