Alabama HR132 recognizes the Founders Day celebration of the Montgomery Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and honors Cheryl W. Turner.

Alabama HR132 honors Cheryl W. Turner, the International President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, for her distinguished career and leadership roles. Turner, a Diamond Life Member, has held various leadership positions within the sorority, including National First Vice President and Chair of the Scholarship and Standards Committee. She was elected as the International President in July 2025 and will be the special guest speaker at the Founders Day celebration of the Montgomery Alumnae Chapter on February 28, 2026.
