Alabama HB365 revises the compensation for the Talladega County sheriff. Until January 18, 2027, the sheriff will continue to receive the same base annual salary as on May 31, 2025. Starting from the effective date of this act, the sheriff will receive an expense allowance of $15,200.32 per annum, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund. Beginning January 18, 2027, the sheriff's base annual salary will be $112,000 per annum, also payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund. The previous salary and expense allowance provisions are voided.
