HB326

Taxation, Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of Alabama and the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge F. and A.M. of Alabama, exempt from sales, county and municipal fees and taxes

Chamber Passed·3/3/26

Alabama HB326 makes permanent the tax exemption for the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge and the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge F. and A.M.

Alabama HB326 amends the Code of Alabama to permanently exempt the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of Alabama and the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge F. and A.M. of Alabama, along with all subordinate lodges, from all state, county, and municipal fees and taxes. Previously, this exemption had a sunset date of September 30, 2027, but this bill removes that limitation, making the exemption permanent. The bill also expands the exemption to include all subordinate lodges to both the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge and the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge F.
