Restore the Expanded Child Tax Credit

Bring back the 2021 expanded Child Tax Credit that cut child poverty nearly in half and was then allowed to expire at the end of that year. The expansion lifted nearly four million children above the poverty line in twelve months and is the single most effective antipoverty program Congress has ever passed.
